About this place
Each cup of hand-drip coffee is brewed to order, and choosing the beans is part of the experience. COFFEE&ROASTER SUMMIT OF THE MOUN10 offers 10 varieties, from medium-light to dark roasts. Rwanda is a good choice for a clean finish, while Mandheling has a fuller body and pronounced bitterness. The menu describes the medium-light Rwanda as sweet, with notes of apricot, green apple and lemon, and a crisp finish. The medium-roast Summit Blend, an original mix of Ethiopian and Kenyan beans, is designed to bring out blueberry and blackcurrant notes alongside acidity and sweetness. If you are unsure where to start, you can share your preferred roast and flavour profile and ask for a recommendation.
One visitor recalls taking a Guatemalan hand-drip coffee to go on a hot day and finding it refreshing. If you would rather not foreground coffee's bitterness, the café latte and honey latte are also options, served hot or iced. The café latte uses an original blend of Ethiopian beans selected to pair well with milk. The honey latte, made with honey from Canada and Hungary, has a depth and sweetness distinct from sugar. One customer who tried it remembered how well the flavours came together.
The summer-only espresso tonic combines the rich flavour and bitterness of espresso with tonic water in a fizzy drink. It contains no alcohol, and it made enough of an impression on one visitor to be ordered twice during a visit. This is a coffee stand with takeaway service. You can enjoy a cup on the spot or choose beans to take home; one customer also recalls having purchased beans roasted on the spot.
